ThE MusiC oF ChampionS!!!! (2/11/12)

About a month ago, good old facebook users began to post the song that was #1 during the week they were born. When my family and I did it, we discovered that our songs were epic, miraculous and everything in between! They were so great, in fact, that we are in the process of making a CD of our fam.'s #1s.

So why not jump right in and reveal the greatness that is our birth songs!!!

Dad: Born Oct. 12, 1955; "Love is a Many-Splendored Thing" by the Four Aces (Dad's old, lol)!

Mom: Born Oct. 17, 1962; "Sherry" by the Four Seasons

Chris: Born Sept. 20, 1982; "Hard to Say I'm Sorry" by Chicago

Josh: Born Mar. 10, 1985; "Can't Fight this Feeling" by REO Speedwagon

Ani: Born June 15, 1987; "Always" by Atlantic Starr

Me: Born Dec. 1, 1987; "(I've Had) the Time of My Life" by Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes

 

Jenni: Born Mar. 18, 1990; "Escapade" by Janet Jackson

Zach: Born Nov. 2, 1992; "End of the Road" by Boyz II Men

Emily: Born Jan. 28, 1996; "One Sweet Day" by Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men

Jonny: Born June 2, 2011; "Rolling in the Deep" by Adele

It was so much fun searching for/finding the songs that marked each of my family member's entrances into this earth! I mean, how can you not love these songs? Even the retro 50s and 60s songs from my mom and dad's eras are awesome!
